Our race HQ is at Piglove By The River, A lovely beer garden in the heart of Citu’s Climate Innovation District, where you can grab a picnic bench and admire the views with your complimentary pint of Piglove Brewing Co’s creative craft brews after you’ve run the race along iconic waterways.

THE COURSE

This is a fairly fast and flat trail course with very good quality footpath conditions. However, there are a couple of small bridges with steps that must be crossed. The course will be carefully signposted with pink arrows so you'll always know where to go. The route passes parrallel to St Aiden's Nature reserve and visits Fairburn Ings Nature Reserve.

NAVIGATION

The course will be fully marked with pink signage and pink tape, however due to elements outside of our control we can never 100% guarantee that signage is present on race day. Our best advice is to make sure you have the GPX files on your watch or phone There are marshals at aid stations only. This is NOT a marshalled race. It is ultimately the runners responsibility to navigate the course successfully, with or without course markings. The vast majority of the course takes place by the water, so keep that to one side and you should be grand!

MANDATORY KIT

In the case of extreme weather we might make some gear mandatory. Please check the weather forecast in the days leading up to the race. No mandatory kit for the half.

Piglove is a stone’s throw from Granary Wharf, Royal Armouries and Leeds Station. We always like to encourage all local runners to come via foot, bicycle or public transport. Please plan your journey to allow time to get to race HQ.
