Chaos in Calverley!
Our last race may have been postponed due to Storm Amy, but don’t worry — Calverley Chaos is back this December with an extra-special festive edition:

Join us on the Calverley Millennium Way for a 7.5-mile trail race with a twist — runners will take on the fully marked Millennium Way in both directions!

Expect festive fun, a few surprises, muddy trails, and plenty of Christmas spirit as we bring the Chaos back to Calverley this December!

MANDATORY / RECOMMENDED GEAR

All runners must turn up with the following…
Windproof / Waterproof Jacket All runners MUST carry a warm jacket / extra clothing suitable for the winter weather should you get yourself in trouble (Weather permitting)
Water Container - Great Owl Running events are cupless, we provide water at refill stations but you must bring your own container.
SHOES - Trail Shoes with half decent grip are strongly recommended for this route

ROUTE

The race starts and finishes at The Railway Inn. After the first 100m or so runners will choose whether to run the course clockwise or anti-clockwise. The route has permanent blue/yellow and green footpath markers and will have extra pink markers added on the day of the event.

GETTING THERE / PARKING

The Railway Inn has a place to lock your bike and is easily accessible via the Leeds Liverpool Canal so access by foot or bike is the best way to reach us.

If driving we strongly recommend parking on Calverley Lane situated just off the A6120. We recommend to avoid Calverley Bridge which is often full. Once parked The Railway Inn is a short walk over the river.
